Senior Home & Investment Lending Manager (Virginia, QLD)

About the role

ANZ is expanding its home and investment lending business in Queensland and is looking for an experienced manager to lead the Virginia branch. You will use your knowledge of the local market to build strong relationships, coach customers through the home‑loan journey and help deliver an exceptional experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, guiding them through the home‑loan process.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience while meeting financial targets.
• Self‑source new business and build a pipeline of prospective borrowers.
• Enhance personal lending capability through dedicated training and coaching.
• Collaborate with the branch team to grow the loan portfolio and improve turnaround times.

Required profile

• Demonstrated residential lending and retail banking experience.
• Proven sales background with financial targets and pipeline development.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong customer focus and ability to network within the community.
• Financial savviness with keen attention to detail.
• Comfortable using digital technology to advise customers.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to change and work in an ambiguous environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities.
