Senior Finance Business Partner – Consumer (Australia)

About the role

The Senior Finance Business Partner will support the strategic and operational finance needs of hummgroup's Australian consumer businesses. Acting as a trusted advisor, the role links finance with management to provide analysis, insights and modelling that drive market share, profitability and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business units to optimise portfolio margins, NPAT, ROE and IRR, providing forward‑looking unit economics for capital allocation.
• Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards and reporting frameworks to support decision‑making, new product cases and market expansions.
• Collaborate with treasury to optimise funding structures and mitigate interest rate, credit and funding risks.
• Lead month‑end processes, annual budgeting, forecasting and ad‑hoc competitor analysis for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Strong relationship‑building ability with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
• Flexible, proactive and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, flat organisational structure.
• Excellent analytical mindset with high attention to detail and the capacity to influence senior leaders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Financial modelling experience.
• Experience with reporting tools and Business Intelligence platforms.
• Solid financial analysis and forecasting capabilities.
