Senior BIM Consultant – Buildings

About the role

Join Aurecon's Perth team as a Senior BIM Consultant focusing on major building projects across health, resources, commercial and defence sectors. You will lead BIM strategy, ensure high‑quality models and drive efficient delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans, project standards and workflows.
• Coordinate BIM delivery across multidisciplinary teams, improving model quality and clash resolution.
• Collaborate with discipline leads, project managers and clients to define BIM requirements.
• Support defence‑related projects, adhering to security and clearance requirements.
• Mentor team members, provide training, templates and automation to uplift capability.

Required profile

• Proven BIM management/coordination experience on complex Australian building projects (health, resources, high‑rise, defence).
• Strong knowledge of Australian/NZ BIM and digital engineering practices, including naming conventions and CDE processes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Australian Government security clearance; Australian citizenship or eligibility may be required.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with clients and stakeholders.
