Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join Viden Advisory in Milton. The role is ideal for someone with 2‑5 years of experience in business services or tax who wants more ownership, client interaction and a clear growth path without excessive hours.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for family businesses and SMEs.
• Handle BAS, GST and other compliance work.
• Manage workflow, meet competing deadlines and oversee junior staff work.
• Participate in advisory projects and more technical assignments.
• Collaborate closely with senior managers and the associate director, building your own client portfolio within 6‑12 months.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in business services or tax.
• Comfortable working across compliance and financial reporting.
• Proactive, able to work in a fast‑moving environment.
• Personable, adaptable and team‑oriented.

Required skills

• Preparation of financial statements.
• Income tax return preparation.
• BAS/GST compliance.
