Regional General Manager – Workstay

About the role

The Regional General Manager – Workstay will lead the day‑to‑day operations of Discovery Parks’ Workstay portfolio, overseeing 22 holiday park and worker village properties across Australia. Reporting to the Executive General Manager – Workstay, you will ensure high‑quality service standards and drive growth in resource‑rich regions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end operations across multiple Workstay and accommodation sites, focusing on service delivery, asset utilisation and performance improvement.
• Lead, mentor and develop property management teams, fostering a high‑performance, accountable culture.
• Implement continuous‑improvement initiatives, both business‑wide and property‑specific, with support from senior leadership.
• Support recruitment and workforce planning, maintaining strong communication rhythms.
• Own regional margin performance, managing wages, COGS, utilities and waste to improve sustainable profitability.
• Act as a key escalation point for incidents and collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, People & Culture, Asset Maintenance, WH&S, Customer Experience and Finance teams.
• Align service delivery with brand standards, market expectations and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multiple hospitality or accommodation sites.
• Strong leadership and people‑development capabilities.
• Solid financial acumen with experience controlling margins, costs and operational budgets.
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams and drive strategic growth.
