Regional Chief Pharmacist

About the role

The Regional Chief Pharmacist provides strategic leadership for pharmacy services across the region, ensuring safe, effective medicines management and high‑quality patient care within WA Country Health Service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all pharmacy operations and resources throughout the region.
• Develop and implement best‑practice pharmacy services aligned with WACHS policies.
• Oversee medicines management, regulatory compliance, and professional standards.
• Drive safety, quality improvement, and organisational values in daily practice.
• Collaborate with clinical teams, senior executives, and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or eligible visa for permanent employment.
• Demonstrated integrity, ethical behaviour, and ability to undergo criminal, integrity and health screenings.
• Commitment to diversity, inclusion and a smoke‑free workplace.
