Quality Assurance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of our Quality Management System for medicinal cannabis products across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Vice President, Quality (Global) and working closely with the Director of Regulatory Affairs ANZ, you will ensure compliance with GMP and GDP standards throughout the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, implement and maintain an end‑to‑end Quality Management System (QMS) across the business.
• Translate regulatory and quality requirements into practical operational processes, SOPs and documentation frameworks.
• Lead supplier qualification, quality oversight and performance monitoring programmes.
• Manage Quality Assurance Agreements with manufacturers, distributors and key suppliers.
• Plan and conduct GMP and GDP audits for internal and external partners.
• Lead investigations, CAPAs, deviations, change controls, complaints, recalls and risk assessments.
• Provide QA oversight for product release, labeling, packaging and supply‑chain activities.
• Drive a quality‑focused culture, continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Significant experience in quality assurance within regulated industries, preferably pharmaceutical or medical cannabis.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, GDP and QMS principles.
• Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and conduct audits.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
