Quality Assurance Coordinator

About the role

Join Nestlé’s Broadford confectionery factory as a Quality Assurance Coordinator. You will lead the implementation and compliance of Nestlé quality systems, supporting the production of iconic brands such as Allen’s Minties and Party Mix.

Key responsibilities

• Manage foreign body and sensory consumer complaints investigations with Production and Engineering teams.
• Own the site’s Sensory program, ensuring compliance, training, risk assessments and verification panels.
• Act as SAP‑QM Super‑user, driving effective implementation and adherence to Nestlé requirements.
• Champion Net Content Control for net weight management in line with regulatory standards.
• Oversee calibration and monitoring of priority instruments used for quality measurements.
• Execute analytical testing, coordinate sample dispatch to laboratories and investigate out‑of‑spec results.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a quality specialist, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
• Tertiary qualification in Food Science or a related field.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP‑QM and related quality modules (DMO‑MMS).
• Experience using Net Content Control systems for weight management.
• Ability to calibrate and monitor priority quality instruments.
• Competence in analytical testing and structured root‑cause analysis.
