Production Operator

About the role

The Production Operator will join Bega’s Koroit dairy manufacturing site, which produces a wide range of milk powders, lactoferrin, butter and cream. Working on a 12‑hour rotating roster that includes days, nights and weekends, the successful candidate will help ensure safe, efficient and high‑quality production of dairy products.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate equipment in the assigned production area safely.
• Record and complete all quality, testing and production documentation accurately.
• Report any safety, quality or environmental incidents promptly.
• Work to minimise downtime and waste while meeting production targets.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support smooth operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Production Operator, preferably in an FMCG or dairy environment.
• Ability to work autonomously for extended periods and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexible 12‑hour shifts on a 24/7 roster.
• High level of computer literacy to operate multiple systems.

Required skills

• Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one).
