Plant Operator & Multi‑Skilled Worker – Full‑time & Part‑time Roles

About the role

Randwick City Council is seeking experienced Plant Operators and Multi‑Skilled Workers to join its Depot Services team in Maroubra. The role involves a range of waste and cleansing activities across the Eastern Suburbs, offering both full‑time and part‑time permanent positions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and operate council vehicles and plant, including compactor trucks, utility vehicles, mechanical road and footpath sweepers, and pressure‑washing equipment.
• Perform street and footpath sweeping, public litter bin servicing, trade waste collection, manual cleaning, and beach cleaning.
• Work with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team.
• Follow Council’s Safe Work Method Statements and comply with legislative, industrial and policy requirements.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience working in a team environment.
• Class HR or MR driver’s licence (or equivalent certified qualifications).
• Current WHS General Construction Induction (White) card.
• Experience dealing with members of the public.
• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision and willingness to adhere to Council policies.
