Partnerships Content Strategist

About the role

The Daily Aus is looking for a Partnerships Content Strategist who can blend strategic thinking with hands‑on content creation. Working inside the commercial partnerships team, you will translate partner briefs into engaging, audience‑centric content that spans newsletters, podcasts, video and social platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creative response to inbound partner briefs, uncovering audience insights and shaping compelling content concepts.
• Build and write pitch decks that clearly communicate ideas in The Daily Aus’s voice.
• Develop concepts across multiple formats – newsletter, podcast, video, social – providing copy direction and mock‑ups as needed.
• Run brainstorm sessions for high‑value briefs and generate proactive, editorially strong ideas.
• Write commercial copy for sponsored newsletter placements, podcast ad reads, social media posts, giveaways and bespoke branded content.
• Own the narrative arc of campaigns, ensuring a cohesive partner message across inbox, ears and feeds.
• Produce case studies and sales collateral that showcase campaign results to brands and media buyers.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of experience in a creative, content or strategy role within media, publishing, brand or agency environments.
• Strong writing ability across formats such as pitch decks, newsletter copy, short‑form social posts and conversational podcast scripts.
• Editorial sensibility to distinguish native content from interruptions and write accordingly.
• Capability to hold a big idea while executing detailed copy and concepts.
