Oracle EPM System Administrator – 6‑month contract

About the role

This is a hands‑on position at the intersection of Finance and IT, acting as the subject‑matter expert for the client’s Oracle Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform. You will own administration, Level 1 support, integrations and translate finance requirements into system solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, configure and optimise Oracle Cloud EPM for planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Provide Level 1 application support, including incident triage, request fulfilment, monitoring and user assistance.
• Manage integrations between Oracle EPM, ERP and upstream data sources, ensuring data integrity and timeliness.
• Translate finance business requirements into system solutions and advise on EPM enhancements.
• Support application lifecycle activities such as releases, upgrades, testing and post‑go‑live support.
• Assist with daily, monthly and year‑end financial processing to meet critical deadlines.
• Maintain governance, security and compliance controls aligned with enterprise standards.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience administering Oracle Cloud EPM, Hyperion or similar platforms (Hyperion strongly desirable).
• Strong understanding of core finance processes: budgeting, forecasting, consolidation and reporting.
• Experience supporting integrations between EPM and ERP systems.
• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across Finance and IT.
• Working knowledge of EPM Automate or comparable automation/scripting tools.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
• Tertiary qualification in IT, Finance, Accounting or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
