National Allocations Consultant (Medical Indemnity)

About the role

The National Allocations Consultant is responsible for managing the allocation of indemnified notifications and claims across the Medical Indemnity business, Avant Law, and external panel partners. This role ensures that each file is directed to the appropriate team or individual, supporting timely and effective service for members.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate files nationally to the correct team members across Avant Medical Indemnity and Avant Law, meeting established service standards.
• Identify and prioritise urgent matters, clearly communicating urgency to ensure response timeframes are met.
• Manage day‑to‑day variations in requests, applying agreed manual workarounds and interim processes to complete tasks accurately.
• Provide operational feedback and improvement suggestions to Claims Excellence to enhance allocation efficiency and effectiveness.

Required profile

• Exposure to Medical Indemnity claims processes and operations.
• Proficiency in working across multiple systems and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
