Material Handler I – Picker/Packer (Warehouse Operative)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Material Handler I to join our Perth warehouse on a 12‑month contract. You will support pick‑and‑pack operations for UK and export orders while gaining structured training in a safety‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately, including raw and packaging materials for production.
• Use SAP to verify stock levels and log order completion.
• Perform daily safety checks (Safe 4 Work, Safe 2 Start) on work areas and equipment.
• Participate in Tier 1 shift reviews and report any issues to the Senior Operator.
• Follow a personalised training plan to develop flexibility across warehouse roles.

Required profile

• Minimum of 4 Standard Grades (or equivalent), preferably with Mathematics.
• Reliable, self‑starting and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, lifting up to 7.5 kg and handling equipment up to 125 kg.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy with the ability to learn new software.
• Experience or willingness to be trained on SAP.
