Marketing Operations Specialist (Event & Email MarTech)

About the role

Canva is looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist to support its event and email marketing technology stack. This 6‑month full‑time engagement will be based in Sydney and will help ensure smooth delivery of event pages, registration flows, and email campaigns while maintaining compliance and data integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Build event pages and registration flows in SplashThat and Canva’s CMS according to stakeholder specifications.
• Perform quality assurance on event builds, checking targeting, content rendering, compliance setup, and integration readiness.
• Configure and verify compliance elements such as cookie banners, consent fields, and language‑specific translations for non‑English events.
• Manage the SplashThat license rotation process, coordinating user access with stakeholders.
• Maintain and improve the SplashThat platform, including themes, templates, forms, and localisation settings.
• Build and review email campaigns in Dyspatch and Braze, set up audience segments, populate localized content, and configure send logic.
• Support intake and triage of build requests via the ticketing queue, communicate timelines, and flag compliance risks.

Required profile

• Experience in event technology, email marketing operations, or MarTech platform operations.
• Comfortable learning new platforms quickly and working within precise technical constraints.
• Strong attention to detail, especially with data naming, taxonomy, and compliance configurations.
• Highly detail‑oriented and enjoys working within structured systems and processes.
