Managing Director – Digital Consumer Business

About the role

The Managing Director will lead the next phase of growth for a digitally‑native, direct‑to‑consumer home improvement brand. With full P&L responsibility, you will oversee marketing, digital, operations, finance, supply chain and customer experience, turning a solid foundation into a high‑performing growth engine.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the scaling of the digitally‑led D2C model and develop the emerging B2B channel.
• Drive commercial outcomes through clear prioritisation, smart investment and financial discipline.
• Evolve product offering and customer experience to support growth and retention.
• Translate strategy into action, set priorities and maintain execution pace across the business.
• Lead, align and develop a cross‑functional leadership team, including the digital team focused on eCommerce performance.
• Strengthen visibility, reporting and data‑led decision making for faster, better decisions.
• Stay close to detail, actively problem‑solve, unblock teams and drive execution.

Required profile

• Proven P&L ownership within a consumer, retail or D2C environment.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce, digital marketing and customer growth levers.
• Experience scaling businesses through periods of rapid growth, change or reinvestment.
• Hands‑on, operator mindset comfortable with detail‑level problem solving.
