Managing Consultant – Recruitment (Mining/Power & Renewables)

About the role

NES Fircroft is seeking a Managing Consultant to lead contract recruitment for the Mining and Power & Renewables sectors across Australia. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, matching top talent with high‑impact projects while driving business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering tailored recruitment solutions.
• Manage the full contract recruitment lifecycle – sourcing, interviewing, and placing candidates.
• Provide market insights and trend analysis to clients and candidates.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the firm’s presence in the sector.
• Engage with high‑quality candidates, develop a talent pool, and ensure a seamless candidate experience.
• Mentor junior team members, supporting their professional development.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract recruitment within an agency environment.
• Sector expertise in Mining or Power & Energy Generation.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business and grow client networks.
