Maintenance Fitter

About the role

As a Maintenance Fitter you will be responsible for keeping the production assets at our Welshpool, WA bottling and canning facility safe, reliable and operating at peak performance. The role is permanent, full‑time and works on a 24‑hour, six‑day roster covering both day and night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform specialised maintenance and diagnostics on utilities and production equipment.
• Own and continuously improve preventative maintenance programmes for assigned assets.
• Coach and support operational teams with technical expertise.
• Lead scheduled and breakdown maintenance, including execution of maintenance days.
• Ensure machines are set up correctly and contribute to continuous improvement of plant capability.

Required profile

• Trade qualification with proven experience in manufacturing environments such as food & beverage, pharmaceutical, FMCG or complex industrial settings.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Safety‑focused and process‑driven mindset.
• Experience in reliability management within FMCG or food manufacturing.
