Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will support the efficient coordination of internal and external transportation activities at McCormick’s Moorabbin Airport site. Working closely with the warehouse shift supervisor, the role ensures timely and accurate delivery of goods while maintaining transport records and monitoring performance.

Key responsibilities

• Book and coordinate internal and external transportation.
• Maintain accurate records of all transport activities.
• Enter data into transportation tracking systems.
• Generate and analyse Delivery In Full, On Time (DIFOT) reports.
• Process invoices related to transportation services.
• Oversee pallet management and optimise resource use.
• Maintain and update the Transport Management System (TMS).
• Receive and process incoming raw materials upon arrival.
• Conduct monthly meetings with transport companies to review performance.

Required profile

• Experience coordinating internal and external transportation.
• Ability to maintain accurate transport records and documentation.
• Strong analytical ability to monitor and improve DIFOT performance.
• Experience processing invoices and managing vendor relationships.
• Collaborative approach to work with warehouse and transport teams.

Required skills

• Transport Management System (TMS) proficiency.
