About the role
Aurecon is seeking a Lead Electrical Designer to join its Queensland Industrial team. You will drive the design of complex electrical, instrumentation and control (EIC) systems for carbon‑neutral, sustainable projects.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of detailed EIC designs across multiple projects.
- Manage and delegate work packages to a small team of designers.
- Produce high‑quality design documentation using industry drafting software.
- Mentor junior staff and support their technical growth.
- Collaborate with global design centres to share best practices.
- Ensure designs meet schedule, budget and consulting‑industry constraints.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading electrical design teams on large‑scale projects.
- Ability to work autonomously from preliminary inputs to detailed deliverables.
- Strong understanding of consulting‑industry project delivery and budget management.
- Excellent communication skills for global collaboration.
