IT Specialist – Executive Support

About the role

The IT Specialist will join Qantas' Tech Team in Sydney, providing high‑quality technical support to Group Leadership and Executive teams across multiple locations. This permanent position focuses on delivering end‑to‑end workplace technology services, ensuring a seamless experience for senior staff whether they are on‑site, remote, or travelling.

Key responsibilities

• Provide desk‑side and remote support for executive users on EUC and BYOD devices.
• Resolve incidents and fulfil service requests for leadership teams across Australian sites and international travel locations.
• Manage and update core IT systems such as Active Directory, SCCM, Azure, and Office 365.
• Collaborate with internal and external service partners to continuously improve service delivery.
• Gather and analyse data on issues to identify trends and opportunities for service optimisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in a large corporate IT environment.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Customer‑focused mindset with solid problem‑solving skills.

• Active Directory administration.
• Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM).
