Integration Lead / Back End Developer (Java, Spring Boot, AWS)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Integration Lead / Back End Developer to design and build scalable, cloud‑native backend services. The role focuses on Java‑based microservices, AWS deployment, and event‑driven architectures for high‑performance applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot).
• Build and deploy microservices‑based applications with emphasis on scalability and reliability.
• Contribute to system design discussions and define scalable backend architectures.
• Develop low‑level designs and support high‑level designs as needed.
• Implement event‑driven and distributed system patterns using Apache Kafka.
• Define and consume RESTful APIs and integration services, including API gateways.
• Work with AWS to build, deploy, and manage cloud applications.
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.
• Support containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Perform performance tuning, debugging, and optimization of backend services.
• Ensure application security, reliability, and fault tolerance.
• Work closely with frontend developers, architects, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Participate in code reviews and design discussions.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices.

Required profile

• 8–10+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and event‑driven systems.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and containerization.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and backend design principles.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and using API gateways (e.g., Apigee).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong debugging, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
