Houseperson Supervisor – Part‑time

About the role

Avani Living Queen's Wharf Residences is expanding its housekeeping team and seeks a part‑time Houseperson Supervisor. You will combine hands‑on houseperson duties with supervisory support to ensure guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces meet the brand’s presentation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Cross‑check guest rooms, back‑of‑house and common areas for cleanliness and presentation.
• Support housepersons, room attendants and the wider housekeeping team with daily operational needs.
• Move, lift and reposition furniture and equipment as required.
• Assist with deep‑cleaning projects and ad‑hoc property tasks.
• Coordinate daily task allocation with the Housekeeping Manager.
• Monitor progress, report maintenance or operational issues, and maintain stock levels of linen and supplies.
• Provide on‑the‑job guidance and respond to guest enquiries.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory experience within a housekeeping team (highly regarded).
• Prior experience as a houseperson or in a housekeeping role (essential).
• Strong physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
