General Yard Hand – Adelaide Service Team

About the role

Join Crown Equipment’s Adelaide Service team as a General Yard Hand. You will support the service department by keeping the yard, warehouse and dispatch areas safe, organized and efficient, while gaining hands‑on experience with capital equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, handle, store and dispatch capital equipment, batteries and chargers.
• Unload and load containers, transport deliveries safely and accurately.
• Allocate batteries and chargers to units, ensuring proper rotation and readiness.
• Assemble, pack and dispatch internal and external orders.
• Maintain clear stock identification, storage areas and walkways.
• Assist with regular stocktakes, reconciliation and yard cleanliness.
• Support technicians and field service teams with parts and operational needs.

Required profile

• Strong work ethic, reliability and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and pride in doing things properly.
• Ability to work safely in a physical, fast‑paced environment.
• Interest in machinery, equipment or technical career pathways.

Required skills

• Overhead Crane Licence (training can be provided if not held).
