Full Stack Developer (Canberra/Sydney)

About the role

Coras is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join its Canberra or Sydney office on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will own end‑to‑end delivery of both internal initiatives and client‑facing projects, working in agile sprints and, when required, embedding with customer teams.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in agile sprint activities: backlog grooming, estimation, planning, execution and retrospectives using Azure DevOps.
• Design, develop and maintain front‑end features with React (TypeScript/JavaScript) and back‑end services using Python or .NET Core.
• Create and evolve database schemas, stored procedures and ORM mappings in PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, unit/integration testing and adherence to architectural standards.
• Collaborate with UX, QA, product and client stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance development productivity where client security permits.
• Support on‑site client engagements as needed.

Required profile

• Tertiary education in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 1‑2 years of hands‑on development experience within the listed technology stack.
• Familiarity with relational databases, schema design and SQL performance tuning.
• Experience working in agile environments and using Azure DevOps tooling.
• Understanding of cloud‑native architectures on Microsoft Azure.
