Freight Forwarder – Import Operations (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder to manage end‑to‑end sea and air import operations for our growing, family‑owned freight forwarding business in Chermside. The role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement and long‑term career opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end sea and air import operations.
• Liaise with shipping lines, transport providers and customs brokers.
• Coordinate cargo movements and track shipments.
• Prepare invoicing, documentation and cargo reporting.
• Ensure compliance with freight forwarding and import regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in freight forwarding or international logistics, particularly import handling.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Full unrestricted Australian working rights.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CargoWise or similar freight management systems.
