Electrical Construction Supervisor – Mining HV Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Construction Supervisor to lead HV infrastructure and decarbonisation projects across Pilbara mining operations. Reporting to the Electrical Superintendent, you will manage construction activities, contractor coordination, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise electrical construction activities across multiple projects and contractors.
• Coordinate commissioning, energisation, handover, and SIMOPS activities.
• Manage isolation requirements and support high‑voltage switching.
• Conduct punch‑list walk‑downs and provide field leadership.
• Review and interpret project drawings, inspection records, and test documentation.
• Liaise with superintendents, commissioning teams, contractors, site personnel, and stakeholders.
• Ensure contractors deliver work safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements.
• Support completions, inspection, testing, and commissioning processes.
• Maintain compliance with BMS obligations, site procedures, and safety standards.
• Promote a strong safety culture and uphold company policies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor and coach the workforce to develop field leadership.

Required profile

• WA A Grade Electrical Licence or relevant tertiary qualification.
• Previous experience supervising electrical commissioning on mining or HV infrastructure projects.
• High Voltage Switching Certificate.
• Strong understanding of HV distribution networks (overhead and underground).
• Proven ability to manage contractors, isolations, and commissioning activities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and field leadership.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards, HS&E requirements, and commissioning practices.
