Educator – Mentor & Coach

About the role

Vantage by Unity is seeking an Educator – Mentor & Coach to join its foundation team on the new senior campus in Parramatta CBD. In this role you will guide small cohorts of Years 7‑12 learners through inquiry‑led, transdisciplinary learning while supporting their academic, social and emotional development.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and coach a cohort of 15‑18 senior students, facilitating goal‑setting and reflection.
• Design and deliver integrated, real‑world learning experiences aligned with NESA curriculum requirements.
• Facilitate inquiry blocks and project‑based units that connect syllabus outcomes to authentic contexts.
• Track and report on academic, social and emotional progress of each learner.
• Collaborate with colleagues across subject areas to develop transdisciplinary programmes.
• Partner with families to support learner development and wellbeing.
• Participate in structured professional development and learning design studios.

Required profile

• Demonstrated passion for mentorship and coaching beyond subject expertise.
• Ability to build deep, respectful relationships with students and colleagues.
• Commitment to innovative, inquiry‑led pedagogy and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to work within Vantage’s Islamic ethos and whole‑person education philosophy.
• Flexibility to teach across disciplines such as Mathematics, English, HSIE, Technology, Science or PDHPE.
