Drill & Blast Engineer – Mining Operations

About the role

Our team is seeking a highly motivated Drill & Blast Engineer to join the Production Drill and Blast department on an 8‑day‑on/6‑day‑off roster. You will support the planning, reporting and scheduling of drill and blast activities, ensuring they are delivered safely, professionally and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust drill and blast resourcing requirements.
• Maintain and continuously improve drill and blast processes.
• Conduct and report QA/QC activities for drill and blast operations.
• Develop, implement and maintain design and planning procedures.
• Carry out project studies and investigations related to drill and blast.
• Provide technical support to production and execution teams to ensure safety.

Required profile

• Relevant experience and qualifications in Drill & Blast within Mining Engineering or a similar discipline.
• Proficiency with Vulcan or comparable drill‑and‑blast software (highly desirable).
• Team‑oriented mindset with a focus on quality and solutions.
• Adaptability to changing environments and a strong commitment to safety.
