DevOps Engineer (Contract) – Sydney

About the role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer on a contract basis to join our Sydney team. The role focuses on building and maintaining automated pipelines and infrastructure to support rapid application delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications, data and infrastructure.
• Automate provisioning of resources using ARM, Bicep or Terraform together with PowerShell and Python scripts.
• Manage build and release workflows, environment configurations and deployment automation.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions and ensure reliable container operations.
• Develop and maintain YAML pipelines and apply cloud automation patterns.

Required profile

• Contract duration of six months with possible extension.
• Eligibility: Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
• Urgent requirement – immediate availability preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Azure services.
• Proficiency with Git and container technologies.
• Experience with monitoring frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with ARM, Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell and Python.
• Ability to create and manage YAML pipelines.

What we offer
