Court Building Manager – Brisbane

About the role

The Department of Justice is seeking a Court Building Manager to lead the operational management of Brisbane’s court precinct, including the QEII Supreme and District Court, Brisbane Magistrates Court, and Roma Street Arrest Courts. This role ensures that court facilities are safe, accessible, and fit‑for‑purpose for all users.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a small team responsible for day‑to‑day facility operations.
• Oversee infrastructure projects, maintenance programmes, cleaning contracts, and security systems.
• Manage operational budgets, forecasting, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with judicial stakeholders, senior leaders, partner agencies, and contractors.
• Represent the Statewide Court Operations team in working groups, committees, and forums, providing expert advice on facilities and infrastructure matters.
