About the role
The Company is seeking a Country Head for Australia to lead all commercial and operational activities. This senior position will drive growth, shape strategy, and ensure compliance across the Australian market.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee sales, marketing, and strategic planning for the Australian market.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders such as wholesalers, pharmacy chains, and the TGA.
- Create product portfolio strategies, manage budgets, and drive revenue growth.
- Develop and execute national sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Identify market opportunities, competitive positioning, and growth areas.
- Collaborate with marketing, medical affairs, and regulatory teams for cohesive go‑to‑market plans.
- Develop and manage sales budgets and forecasts, optimizing resource allocation for maximum ROI.
- Ensure compliance with Australian pharmaceutical regulations.
- Lead a geographically dispersed sales team and maintain strong liaison with the head office in India.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10–15 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the Australian healthcare system and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Established relationships with major wholesalers and pharmacy chains in Australia.
- Experience managing large, geographically dispersed sales teams.
