About the role
KPMG’s Office of General Counsel is seeking a versatile in‑house lawyer to support a broad range of corporate and commercial matters. You will work closely with business units and external counsel, providing legal guidance that enables confident decision‑making across the firm.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate general contracts and commercial agreements.
- Assess new product and service offerings for legal compliance.
- Provide legal advice on tender documents and client service proposals.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external counsel to align legal strategy with business objectives.
- Support the management and resolution of potential disputes and litigation matters.
Required profile
- Admitted lawyer with a current practising certificate.
- Proven experience negotiating commercial contracts.
- Background in litigation, disputes or reputation matters.
- Exposure to corporate law matters.
- Strong drafting, negotiation and communication abilities.
- Proactive, commercial mindset for problem‑solving.
