Clinical Nurse – ICU Leadership Role

Join the dynamic Intensive Care Unit at Hollywood Private Hospital as a Clinical Nurse. This role combines direct patient care with a leadership component, allowing you to mentor junior staff and influence critical care practices.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and mentor junior team members in the ICU.
• Oversee complex patient cases and ensure adherence to clinical protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to unit safety.
• Act as a resource for critical decision‑making, applying advanced clinical knowledge.
• Support shift coordination and maintain high standards of patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Post‑graduate qualification in Critical Care Nursing or equivalent extensive experience.
• 3–5 years recent experience in a busy ICU, including shift coordinator duties.
• Cardiothoracic experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to guide junior staff.
• Strong communication, critical thinking and independent decision‑making.
