Classroom Teacher

About the role

Holy Spirit Primary School is seeking a full‑time Classroom Teacher to deliver high‑quality, differentiated instruction for students from Preschool to Year 6. This temporary 12‑month appointment replaces a staff member on parental leave and offers a supportive, faith‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons using approved teaching practices.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom that promotes academic success and student wellbeing.
• Assess student progress continuously and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of student development and achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues, families, and school leadership to support each child’s holistic development.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Education or Master in Teaching.
• Valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance.
• ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
• Accreditation in line with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education policy.
