Catering Attendant – Perth Airport

About the role

Join dnata catering & retail’s Perth airport team as a Catering Attendant. You will help create a memorable inflight dining experience for passengers by preparing, assembling and loading meals and supplies onto airline carts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, portion and plate meals according to visual presentation guides.
• Assemble meal trays to airline specifications and load them into airline carts.
• Stock airline carts with packaged food, beverages and equipment.
• Load and unload dishwashers, ensuring cutlery, crockery and glassware are clean and in perfect condition.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and sanitation policies, including HACCP, IFSA and QSAI standards.
• Communicate and coordinate with team members to meet delivery schedules.

Required profile

• Clear National Police Check.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong numeracy for accurate documentation.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift items.
• Flexibility to work a 7‑day rotating roster and 38 hours per week.
• Neat, tidy presentation with a focus on hygiene.

Required skills

• Food hygiene knowledge.
• HACCP awareness (desired).
• Basic knife skills (desired).
