Casual Merchandiser – Newcastle area (NSW)

About the role

Join Nestlé’s Operational Services team as a Casual Merchandiser in the Newcastle area. You will represent iconic Nestlé brands across the grocery channel, working 12‑20 hours per week with flexibility to pick up extra hours during peak periods. The role requires a valid driver’s licence and your own vehicle to travel between stores.

Key responsibilities

• Visit Coles, Woolworths and independent grocery stores to set up and maintain brand displays.
• Build and secure in‑store displays, ensuring brand visibility and compliance with planograms.
• Collaborate with store managers to achieve commercial targets and optimise shelf space.
• Follow a weekly plan, documenting work and display highlights using a mobile device.

Required profile

• Experience in a retail or customer‑facing environment.
• Confident communicator who enjoys building relationships with store staff.
• Own a valid driver’s licence and have access to a reliable vehicle.
• Physically able to lift, move and construct displays.
• Organised, safety‑focused and motivated to deliver strong results.
• Live locally and able to work independently on the road.
