Business Consultant – Retail Planning

About the role

Bamboo Rose is looking for a Business Consultant to join its Professional Services team in Australia. Reporting to the Retail Planning Practice Director, you will work directly with retail customers to implement the Bamboo Rose TotalPLM™ platform, helping them transform planning and supply‑chain processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops and translate retail planning processes into functional requirements.
• Configure the Bamboo Rose solution to match customer workflows, business rules, and reporting needs.
• Support data loading, integration testing, UAT, go‑live preparation and post‑go‑live adoption.
• Collaborate with technical teams on API, SQL and JSON integrations and third‑party system connections.
• Manage work‑stream scope, timelines, dependencies, risks and customer readiness.

Required profile

• Experience in retail planning, merchandising, supply‑chain planning or related enterprise software implementations.
• Hands‑on experience configuring SaaS or enterprise retail systems.
• Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process mapping and data review.
• Customer‑facing consulting experience with the ability to advise on practical process choices.
• Project‑management exposure to scope, timeline, budget, risk and dependencies.
