Business Banking Manager – NSW

About the role

ANZ’s Business & Private Bank is seeking a Business Banking Manager for NSW to manage and grow a portfolio of small‑to‑medium enterprise (SME) customers. The role focuses on delivering tailored banking solutions, building strong relationships and supporting clients through multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a high‑volume inbound and outbound call schedule to engage existing SME clients.
• Retain and grow a team‑based portfolio by understanding customer ambitions and recommending appropriate ANZ products.
• Provide proactive, high‑quality service via phone, video, email and digital platforms.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, Lighthouse and support teams to deliver rapid solutions.
• Meet performance targets across the balanced scorecard and contribute to a collaborative team culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience in relationship management within banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of SME business needs and ability to identify growth opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑first mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of ANZ’s product suite to match solutions to client requirements.
