Audit Senior

About the role

As an Audit Senior at Nexia Perth you will join a team of experienced directors and work with a diverse portfolio of clients, including ASX‑listed companies and not‑for‑profit organisations. You will lead high‑quality financial audits, communicate findings to clients, and contribute to non‑audit projects such as due‑diligence assignments and independent expert reports.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and review external financial audits for a range of entities.
• Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to clients.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of audit engagements.
• Participate in non‑audit engagements, including due‑diligence and expert reporting.
• Support junior staff through coaching and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• CA/CPA studies completed or underway.
• Relevant external audit experience in Australia (or a jurisdiction using ISAs and IFRS).
• Experience in a busy audit practice with strong knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting requirements.
• Excellent organisational, time‑management, communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
• Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Due‑diligence and independent expert reporting capabilities.
