Android Mobile Engineer

About the role

AMP Bank is building a new digital banking experience for Australian consumers and small businesses. We are looking for a customer‑obsessed Android Engineer to design, develop, and enhance our brand‑new mobile banking app.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance features of the Android banking application using AMP’s Engine platform.
• Respond to and resolve incidents promptly.
• Monitor, optimise, and scale app performance.
• Implement security best practices throughout the codebase.
• Contribute to internal tooling and modular architecture.

• Passionate about technology and delivering a world‑class user experience.
• Customer‑focused mindset, willing to ask tough questions and challenge the status quo.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving fintech environment, even without prior finance experience.
