Android Mobile Developer (Mandarin Speaking) – Hybrid, Sydney, 6‑Month Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Mandarin‑speaking Android Mobile Developer to join a high‑performing product team in Sydney. This 6‑month contract role offers a hybrid work model (three days onsite, two days remote) and immediate start, allowing you to make a tangible impact on large‑scale mobile applications from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance Android applications used by real customers daily.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, QA Engineers, and Backend Developers to deliver features from concept to deployment.
• Improve application performance, stability, and user experience.
• Investigate and resolve bugs, production issues, and technical challenges.
• Participate in technical discussions, architecture decisions, and code reviews.
• Contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and explore new technologies.

Required profile

• Fluent Mandarin and English communication skills (spoken and written).
• 3–5 years of commercial Android development experience.
• Strong Kotlin and/or Java development skills.
• Experience building and releasing Android applications to production.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
