Analyst – Data & AI

About the role

Quantium is seeking an Analyst to join the CommBank iQ Dedicated Analytics chapter. You will work with de‑identified transaction data, advanced analytics and AI tools to generate insights that drive business decisions at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end‑to‑end analytics engagements, from data preparation to insight presentation.
• Build analytical solutions using statistical methods, data‑science techniques and AI tools.
• Apply AI and automation to improve workflow efficiency and support evidence‑based decision‑making.
• Communicate findings through presentations, dashboards and visualisations for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Maintain quality assurance practices and comprehensive documentation of methodologies and outputs.
• Seek feedback, develop technical and consulting capabilities, and suggest process improvements.

Required profile

• Approximately 3 years of experience in an analytics or data‑related role.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or SQL.
• Strong analytical thinking with a solid understanding of statistical concepts.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex data into clear stories.
• Collaborative team player comfortable working with colleagues and client stakeholders.
