Agreements Manager

About the role

The Agreements Manager will lead the development, negotiation, execution and ongoing management of Australian Government agency agreements within the SEAG2G program. Working closely with the Partnerships Manager and Partnership Leads, this role ensures that all agreements are streamlined, compliant and aligned with DFAT, DT Global and partner agency policies.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and finalise agreements with Australian Government agencies and Southeast Asian partners.
• Maintain a central repository of all agreements and monitor compliance with legal and policy requirements.
• Coordinate with internal legal, finance and program teams to resolve contractual issues.
• Provide guidance on agreement‑related processes and support partnership leads throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to streamline agreement workflows and improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing government or large‑scale partnership agreements.
• Strong understanding of DFAT policies, international development frameworks and public sector procurement.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple time zones.
