Youth Mentor

About the role

As a Youth Mentor at Asuria, you will empower young participants to secure sustainable employment. Working from our Parramatta office, you will use your proactive approach and strong customer‑service skills to guide clients toward successful job outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Meet specific targets and KPIs related to youth employment outcomes.
• Provide tailored guidance, coaching, job placement and ongoing support to assigned youth participants.
• Understand each client’s unique employment needs and develop personalised action plans.
• Collaborate with employers to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity.

Required profile

• Experience in a similar role within Employment Services (highly advantageous).
• Demonstrated experience in customer service, sales, contact centre or recruitment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
• Attention to detail, solid administration abilities and proficiency with IT systems.
• Ability to balance empathy, dignity and respect while driving positive business outcomes.
• Valid Police Check and Working with Children Check; must set up a myGovID before starting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using IT systems for case management and reporting.
