Year Level Coordinator

About the role

Hume Anglican Grammar is seeking experienced teachers to join its leadership team as Year Level Coordinators. The position is a full‑time (1.0 FTE) three‑year fixed‑term role starting Monday 25 January 2027, with three openings across the Donnybrook and Freier campuses.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the pastoral care and wellbeing of students within the assigned year level.
• Support homeroom teachers to deliver an evidence‑based wellbeing curriculum aligned with the school’s strategic approach.
• Create a safe, supportive and inspiring environment that reflects the school’s vision, values and policies.
• Coordinate year‑level activities, monitor student progress and liaise with parents and community members.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to teaching staff, promoting innovative wellbeing practices.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with proven experience in secondary or primary education.
• Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary student wellbeing practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, respected by colleagues, parents and the community.
• Ability to lead, organise and inspire a team of homeroom teachers.
