About the role
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will join a team of field and workshop service technicians delivering prompt and effective service to customers in the water, power, petrochemical and related industries. You will identify faults, repair, test and modify actuators, carry out retrofits and produce accurate technical reports for each job.
Key responsibilities
- Repair and troubleshoot Rotork actuators using mechanical and electrical expertise.
- Perform retrofit adaptations of components, pedestals and drive shafts in the workshop.
- Support field service staff on-site when required and document all work performed.
Required profile
- Trade certificate or technical diploma in Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering.
- Restricted Electrical licence or willingness to obtain one.
- Valid motor vehicle driving licence.
- Ability to read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
- Physical fitness and compliance with drug and alcohol policies.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to undertake Rotork training courses in Australia or overseas.
