Workplace Creche Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and nurturing Workplace Creche Assistant to join Crèche Collective’s on‑site childcare service in Perth’s central business district. The role offers a calm, play‑focused environment where you will look after children from six weeks to five years old.

Key responsibilities

• Engage children in age‑appropriate play, crafts, songs and story‑time.
• Plan and deliver creative activities that stimulate learning and imagination.
• Support mealtimes, snacks and nap routines, ensuring a safe and hygienic setting.
• Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming creche space.
• Provide flexible coverage for full‑day, lunch‑cover and relief shifts as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum two years experience caring for babies and young children.
• Warm, positive and nurturing attitude.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a Working With Children Check, National Police Clearance and First Aid certification.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Early childhood qualifications are a plus but not mandatory.

Required skills

• First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
