Work Health and Safety Coordinator

About the role

Join Beyond Bank as a Work Health and Safety (WHS) Coordinator and help create a safe, supportive workplace for over 300,000 members. Working part‑time (three days a week) in a hybrid model, you will support the WHS and Wellbeing Manager and keep core WHS systems running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate hazard and incident management, ensuring timely follow‑up and escalation.
• Support investigations, corrective actions and maintain WHS records and registers.
• Assist with the development, review and communication of WHS policies and procedures.
• Manage the WHS inbox, triage enquiries and track actions to completion.
• Track audit findings and action items, providing accurate reporting and evidence capture.
• Coordinate WHS meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, minutes and action tracking.

Required profile

• Experience in a WHS coordination role or strong administrative background with interest in WHS.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proactive, adaptable and confident in providing practical WHS support.
• Ability to build positive working relationships and follow up actions effectively.

Required skills

• Familiarity with risk reporting tools such as ERM/Protecht.
