Women's Imaging Sonographer

About the role

The Women's Imaging Centre, part of South Coast Radiology on the Gold Coast, is looking for a Women's Imaging Sonographer. The centre was built to give women access to highly specialised diagnostic imaging in a compassionate, caring environment, with a strong focus on breast imaging. The role sits within a private practice hub offering X-Ray, MRI, CT, PET and ultrasound services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations, with a strong focus on breast imaging
• Work in a progressive learning environment with the chance to upskill and cover comprehensive examinations
• Work closely with specialist referrers and radiologists
• Provide patient care in a brand-new facility with dedicated clinical teams

Required profile

• ASAR registration
• Australian residency and right to work in Australia
• Experience with GE Logic ultrasound systems is desirable
• Applicants with a Graduate Certificate in Breast Imaging or a Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound are welcome
